    3. Drain off excess grease.
    4. Add water, potatoes, salt, paprika, and bay leaf; simmer until potatoes are done (20 minutes).
    5. Combine flour with 1/4 cup milk in measuring cup to make paste (add more flour or milk if necessary).
    6. Add blended paste to potato sauce pot mixture.
    7. Add rest of milk and corn.
    8. Stir constantly and simmer for 5 minutes. DO NOT BOIL!!
